Local Ministries

Our team members are involved in various ministries locally, across the cities Brașov, Sighișoara and Cluj-Napoca.

Firm Foundations Romania (FFR)- Brașov

We are involved in a hospital ministry with Firm Foundations Romania at the Children’s Hospital in the city of Brașov two to three times a week. These visits usually consist of giving diapers, holding and caring for babies whose parents are not able to be with them for whatever reason. Some days we give out bundles of clothing and toiletries to children and mothers in need, and other times we sort donated clothing by size. A few times a year FFR receives aid trucks from Germany, and we help with unloading them.

Youth Group, Calvary Chapel - Brașov

It is God’s desire to for youth to know Him and have a personal relationship with Him, so the youth are very much on both God’s heart and ours. When Daniel and Ana arrived in Brașov, they started a youth group at Calvary Chapel to serve young people from a couple of local churches: a safe place where teenagers could share, hear God’s word and enjoy fun activities with other teens. The group is now led by one of the CC pastors, but Daniel still helps out with Ablaze-nights twice a month. These times are spent listening to a short Biblical talk, sharing in small groups, playing games and sometimes watching a movie.

It has definitely become a safe and healthy community for young people in Brașov to meet and grow in God.
